ORBIT is a research publishing pipeline — Discover, Check, Submit, Present — ten tools that share one credit pool. Four are free, six cost 1–3 credits drawn from the same pool. Between them they cover 7 formatting templates and 11 journal profiles, plus literature, dataset and journal discovery.
Upload a finished .docx up to 4.5 MB, pick one of 7 templates — IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Springer, APA, MLA and Chicago — and download the same paper typeset to that specification. Journals not on the list can be handled by uploading the journal's own .docx template, which ORBIT reads the page layout, fonts, columns and styles out of.
ORBIT edits your own document rather than rebuilding it from extracted text. It unzips the .docx, rewrites word/document.xml and word/styles.xml, and re-zips. Everything it does not touch survives byte for byte, which is why figures, tables, embedded equations, footnotes, numbering and inline formatting come through unchanged.
Formatting is a deterministic transformation of your file, not a generative one. No language model is involved and your manuscript text is never sent to a third-party AI service.
Pick a target journal, upload your manuscript, and get 41+ compliance checks across 7 categories with a specific fix for anything that fails. 11 journal profiles are available, scoped to computer science, AI and machine learning; 8 of them are transcribed directly from the publisher's own author-guidelines page.
The manuscript is unzipped and analysed by JavaScript in your own browser. There is no upload step because there is nothing to upload to — only the resulting score and the journal name are recorded against your account.
Where a journal publishes no rule for a check, the check returns "not stated" and is excluded from the score rather than counted as a pass. Silence is never scored as compliance.
Every account gets 5 free credits per calendar month, which reset on the 1st. Most things cost one credit; a readiness check against a named journal and a conversion to your own uploaded template cost 2. Free credits cover all of it. Additional credits cost ₹500 each and never expire. There is no subscription and no card on file.
Credit packs: 2 credits for ₹1,000, 4 credits for ₹2,000, 10 credits for ₹5,000.
