Questions
Who can apply? Anyone currently enrolled as a student who can show a current student ID, and who has an ORBIT account. The student price is charged in Indian Rupees, so you pay with UPI or an Indian card. A university email on the institution waitlist can still apply.
How much is it? Half the usual price: Starter ₹399 a month or ₹4,310 a year, Ultra ₹749 a month or ₹8,090 a year. Top-ups and prices in other currencies are not discounted.
How long does it last? One year from approval. You can apply again in its last 30 days, and a renewal is added to the end of the year you already have, so nothing is lost by applying early. A student plan that renews never charges past your student year, and a yearly plan needs at least 335 days of student status left.
What happens to my ID photo? It is stored in our database, seen only by the person who checks it, and deleted the moment we approve or reject. If we have not decided within 30 days, it is deleted automatically and the application closes so you can apply again.
What if I am rejected? The reason is shown in Plan & credits. Fix what it names and send a new application.
Can the discount be taken away? Yes, if it was obtained with a false ID or someone else's. Otherwise it runs for the full year.
