Discover — find what to build on
Literature Discovery — search about 250 million papers, see which are legally free to read, export them. Search is free; one extra credit ranked them against your own abstract.
Dataset Discovery — search about 73 million research datasets across Zenodo, figshare, Dryad and more. Every result states its reuse licence. Completely free, no credit at any point.
Check — is the paper ready to send?
Paper Readiness Check — 41+ checks across 7 categories against a journal's own submission rules, before you submit. 11 journals available; 8 transcribed from the publisher's own page. 1 credit for a style system, 2 for a named journal. The manuscript never leaves your browser.
Reference Check — every reference resolved against Crossref: retractions, entries that no longer resolve, and metadata that disagrees with the published record. In manuscript mode it also names citations with no entry and entries nothing cites. 1 credit for a list, 2 for a manuscript; restyling and the .docx are free.
Submit — put it in the right form and place
Format Paper — apply one of 7 templates (IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Springer, APA, MLA and Chicago) to your .docx, or upload your own template. 1 credit for a built-in template, 2 for your own. Figures, tables, equations and numbering survive because the file is edited rather than rebuilt.
Figure Builder — drop a CSV, TSV or XLSX and get a publication figure. 45 figure types offered only where the table's shape supports them, exported as SVG, PNG to 1200 DPI or true vector PDF. 1 credit reads the table; every figure and export after that is free. Cell values never leave the browser.
Journal Suggestion — paste your abstract and get journals that publish your subject, with the real cost to publish, open-access status and whether they still publish. Free.
Cover Letter — draft the submission cover letter from your title and abstract, with marked blanks everywhere it would otherwise invent a name or a funder. 1 credit; the text is never stored.
Conference Deadlines — upcoming submission deadlines for computer science and AI conferences, rebuilt daily. Free, no signup, each links to the conference's own page.
Present — turn the paper into a talk
Paper to Slides — turn a finished .docx into a slide deck. Outline mode keeps your words; Narrated mode drafts headlines and speaker notes. 1 credit for Outline, 3 for Narrated. The file is never stored.
One pool, not ten prices
Every account gets 5 free credits per calendar month, which reset on the 1st. Most things cost one credit; a readiness check against a named journal and a conversion to your own uploaded template cost 2. Free credits cover all of it. Additional credits cost ₹500 each and never expire. There is no subscription and no card on file.
Credit packs: 2 credits for ₹1,000, 4 credits for ₹2,000, 10 credits for ₹5,000.
What ORBIT does not do
It does not parse, renumber or convert citations, and does not map in-text citations to bibliography entries.
It does not reorder, rewrite or summarise sections. Formatting changes how the document is typeset, never what it says.
It does not guarantee acceptance. Formatting is one thing a desk editor checks; scope, novelty and quality are not things software can judge.
It does not accept files over 4.5 MB, or anything that is not a .docx.
